Context Building and Language Teaching

Since the late 70s of 20th century,the significance of context has been attracting growing attention of linguists and language teaching professionals.In fact,context is quite influential upon the understanding of linguistic meanings.In view of the practice of English teaching in China,we need to build context in foreign language classroom.The contextual designing must be in accordance with the linguistic rules of English,and at the same time take account of the teaching nature of entirety and system in order to effectively use language in context and promote the proficiency of accurate language understanding.
