Abstract
The background and feature of Modelica are introduced and its syntax structures are analyzed. Then, the Modelica model libraries, and the modeling and simulation tools are also presented. Finally, dynamics model of a vehicle is established based on the recently released Vehicle Dynamics Library and other libraries, and simulated with simulation software package Dymola. The result of simulation indicates that it is simple and easy to model using Modelica language and libraries, and the language has great future in modeling multi-domain problems.
