Relevance theory and pragmatics translation

The Relevance Theory put forward by French scholar Sperber and British scholar Wilson is used in different fields and it is regard as the new theory of guiding the pragmatics translation.If we want to translate the original text accurately,we should find out the relevance between the original text and its context,and do the rational ratiocination according to all kinds of information that probabIy is relevant to each other,that is to say,we should find out the perfect relevance of the information illustrated by the author in literal ways.In addition,the context is helpful for the translator to correctly understand the author's pragmatics intention.Discussing thoroughly the inspi- ration of relevance theory to pragmatics translation from the angles of context and translation process has great practical significance.
