A Modern "Totem":On the Lyrical Form and Aesthetic Consciousness of Yu Dafu's Self-Narrative Novels

This article is based on rereading of Yu Dafu's self-narrative novels and discloses writer's spiritual pursuit,thinking dimension,writing ideal and ideological orientation which were deeply hidden in the wounded experience in pursuing national spirit.It analyzes inherent spiritual essence and form mechanism through language generation in his literary works.In history of modern literature,Yu Dafu applied a self-narrative literary style to make an immediate,profound spiritual interpretation and exploration in constructing lyric subject between reality and imagination.His self-narrative novels,as an experimental literary form,have rich ideological implications and aesthetic consciousness
