Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of stress on contents of monoamine neurotransmitter in serum and different cerebral region tissue of model rats. Methods Rats of each group were sacrificed to obtain serum, diencephalon and cerebellum to assay contents of norepinephrine(NE),dopamine(DA) and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) by fluorometric method. Results ①The contents of norepinephrine(NE) and dopamine(DA) in plasma were higher in stress group than those in normal control group(P0.01),content of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) was lower than that in normal control group(P0.05).②Content of norepinephrine(NE) in diencephalon was higher in stress group than that in normal control group(P0.05),content of dopamine(DA) was similar to that in normal control group(P0.05),content of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) was lower than that in normal control group(P0.05).③Content of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) in cerebellum was lower in stress group than that in normal control group(P0.01),and contents of norepinephrine(NE) and dopamine(DA) were similar to those in normal control group(P0.05).Conclusion There were different stress reactions in serum and different cerebral region tissue of rats with binding and suspension, the decrease of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5HT) is possibly related with depression.
