Abstract
Based on the principle of cost control of construction project, combined with the typical actual projects, the value engineering principle is used for multi-dimensional analysis of the construction project cost control, and specific recommendations are made.In economic activity, when users buy products, they do not purchase the product itself, but to buy their necessary functions. If the function is too high and too comprehensive, its cost will inevitably high;if the functions of the product is more than the necessary features that some users do not want to,it would create functions surplus;contrary,it will cause insufficiency. If we apply value engineering to control the production cost, the phenomenon of excess and insufficiency will be avoided.
