Abstract
Objective To learn about the epidemiological characteristic of emergency public health events in Xinbei District from 2006 to 2011,so as to provide scientific evidence for prevention and control of public health emergencies.Methods The related information was collected from National public health emergency management information reporting system and was analyzed by descriptive epidemiological method.Results A total of 14 public health emergencies were reported from 2006 to 2011,including 476 cases and no death,totally 19 486 people were affected.The infectious diseases related events peaked in Mar and April.Food poisoning events peaked from September to November.Among these events,10 cases were infectious diseases related events(71.43%).4 cases were food poisoning events(28.57%);Conclusions Among events mainly happened in the school mostly in primary school.Infectious disease outbreak is the subject of public health emergencies.School is a place frequently occurred public health emergency events,We should focus on strengthening the school infectious disease and food poisoning prevention and control.
