Abstract
The crankshaft is the important part in the engine, whose vibration will exert great influence on the NVH of the whole engine. This paper designs a 3-D crankshaft through the three-dimensional design software Pro/E and then conducts the model analysis on the engine by using finite element software ANSYS Workbench. Finally, the natural frequency and model of vibration have been concluded, which will provide reference to avoid resonance and the theory basis for the optimization and improvement of the crankshaft design,as well as help to the analysis of crankshaft transient dynamics and the solution to variable load force, stress and the prediction of fatigue life.
