Abstract

Five 8-weeks-old Calb/c mice were immunized with purified recombinant fusion protein ORF2-M1of swine Hepatitis E virus. Two hybridoma cell lines designated BC4 and 2A10 steadily secreting monoclonal antibody(McAb)against ORF2-M 1 protein of swine Hepatitis E virus were obtained by hybridoma technology. The titers of the two McAbs in the culture supernatant were 1∶1.60×103 and 1∶0.80×103,respectively,and the titers in the ascites of the mice were 1∶2.56×106 and 1∶1.28×106 respectively, detected by ELISA.The two McAbs were able to recognize different epitopes of ORF2-M1.The McAbs could react with HEV by indirect immunofluorescence assay(IFA),indicating that the two McAbs exhibit good specificity.
