On Gricean Theory of Conversational Implicature

Abstract
One of the most important pragmatic theories is Gricean theory of conversational implicature,which explains function of language and implicature of discourse based on context. Using this theory,we can deduce the conversational implicature as well as the speaker's communicative intention,thus improve our communicative competence.
