Abstract

This paper introduces the concept of generalized heating system model. It consists of six sub-systems, that is, fuel energy delivery, power generation, power transmission distribution, heat generation, heat transmission distribution and end-users. The energy consumption of a CHP system is analyzed based on Consumption Rate Analysis Theory. The unit consumption varies with environment temperature, heating network water temperature, transmission distance. Pressure and temperature of extraction steam are also calculated.
