SYMBOL OF DEPRESSED LIFE——A Comprehensive Study on Cao Zhi's Later Poems

In Cao Zhi's later life, he was troubled by the following four aspects at least: being alienated because of slanderous talk, the danger of life, wandering from place to place and ideal that could not be achieved, and feeling the heavy depression of life. All of those we talked about above influenced his poetry creation in his later-period deeply, making many things under his pen had a strong subjective color. If we want to understand Cao Zhi's tragic life situation and depressed life experience comprehensively, it is obviously insufficient for us to pay attention to some poems which poured out his feeling straightly. Perhaps many of his late-period poems, such as poems of chanting things, poems of depressing things and poems of tourism, are the best researching objects. In terms of the essence, Cao Zhi's late-period poems are symbol of li
