Abstract

[Objective] To understand pathogen distribution in patients with lower respiratory tract infection and characteristics of bacterial resistance, and to guide the rational antibiotics administration in clinic.[Methods]2853 strains of pathogens isolated from the lower respiratory tract of patients in Dandong Municipal Central Hospital were conducted analysis of drug resistance.[Results] Of the isolated pathogens, gram negative(G-)strains accounted for 67.74% and gram positive strains(G+)occupied 21.92%.Among the isolated G-strains,the major pathogens were Klebsiella pneumoniae(20.19%),Enterobacter cloacae(9.57%),Escherichia coli(8.83%),Bowman /hemolytic Acinetobacter(7.33%),Pseudomonas aeruginosa(6.66%).Among the isolated G+ strains, the major pathogens were Staphylococcus aureus(5.04%) and Staphylococcus epidermidis(4.52%).The G-strains were most sensitive to Aztreonam and imipenem;the G+ strains were most sensitive to vancomycin and Rifampicin.[Conclusion] G-bacteria are the main pathogen involving in respiratory tract infection.Drug resistance test should be carried out according to the variety of pathogenic bacteria(including fungi) so as to use antibiotics rationally and decrease drug resistance and fatal dual infection.
