Abstract
In order to study the method of storing chlorine dioxide disinfection solution under conventional conditions, chemical analysis method was used to observe the influence of factors such as pH,temperature and illumination on stability of chlorine dioxide disinfection solution storing in conventional conditions. Results: When the pure chlorine dioxide solution without stabilizer was stored in the containers made of corrosion-resisting materials such as dark brown glass or glass fibre reinforced plastic, the chlorine dioxide content was significantly influenced by pH value.Increase in temperature or direct illumination could accelerate decomposition of chlorine dioxide. Conclusions: The pH value of pure chlorine dioxide solution should be controlled at about 6 and only by storing the chlorine dioxide solution in a place lower than 10℃,dry and protecting from light, can the chlorine dioxide disinfection solution be kept in optimal stable condition.
