Abstract
Metaphor's essence is to comprehend and experience one thing through another.Therefore metaphor is semantic interaction of the two cognition fields.On the basis of the analysis on the three features of a metaphor and its cognition methods,this article studies several strategies of metaphor translation such as equity;transformation;foreignization;abandonment and note.
