Expression of MMP2 protein in epithelial ovarian cancer tissue

Abstract

Objective To investigate the expression of MMP2 protein in epithelial ovarian cancer tissue.Methods The expression of MMP2 protein in 78 cases of epithelial ovarian cancer tissue was detected using immunohistochemistry.Results The expression of MMP2 was detected in epithelial ovarian cancer tissue of 56 cases.The expression of MMP2 was related to differentiation degree,clinical stage,and lymph node metastasis,but not with histological type.Conclusion The expression of MMP2 protein is related to the occurrence,development and metastasis of epithelial ovarian cancer,and be used as an indicator for judging poor prognosis.
