Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effects of solifenacin succinate tablets and prostant in the treatment of cystospasm during the early stage after transurethral resection of prostate. Methods 60 cases were randomly divided into two groups. Each group contained 30 cases. The observation group was treated with solifenacin succinate tablets(5 mg,Qd)and prostant(2 g,Qd),while the control group was treated with indomethacin 50 mg.Treatment outcomes and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The mean frequency, duration of bladder spasm, the time of bladder perfusion clearance in observation group reduced significantly as compared with control group. Within three days after removing the catheter, the numbers of voids per day, mean urine volume per void in observation group improved significantly as compared with control roup(P 0.05). Conclusion The combination of solifenacin succinate tablets and prostant are effective in the prevention and treatment of bladder spasm following TURP,and it is worthy of clinical application.
