Abstract
The symptoms of skin ulcer disease and the characters of its pathogenic bacteria which are epidemic in some Lateolabrax japonicus in Zhejiang Province are described The strains of pathogenic bacteria were isolated from the liver, kidney and blood of the diseased fish, the artificial infection was made by using four strains, and all the infected fish died The symptom was similar to that of natural incidence According to morphological features, physiological and biochemical characteristics of the strains 96915 1, they were assigned to Vibrio harveyi These strains were highly sensitive to Chloramphenicol, Gentamycinum, Ciprofloxacin, Sulfamethoxazole etc
