Abstract

Objective To study the rates of unhealthy dietary behaviors of high school students in Fujian for the intervention measures.Methods By stratified cluster sampling,7 848 high school students were selected from 27 high / professional schools and investigated with questionnaire.Results Unhealthy dietary behaviors were common in the students.The unhealthy rates were as follows:54.8%(eating vegetable 2 times/d),53.6%(eating fresh fruit 1 times/d),35.3%(drinking milk 2 days/w),32.9%(a penchant for some food),24.0%(eating sweet food ≥1 time/d).Generally speaking,the rates of unhealthy dietary behaviors in male and professional schools were at higher level.Conclusion Many problems of unhealthy dietary behaviors exist in high school students in Fujian.Intervention measures should be taken according to areas,gender and different kinds of schools.
