Abstract
Objective To understand the current condition of dietary behaviors and weight reducing behaviors of high school students in Chuzhou,and to provide basis for making intervention measures.Methods An anonymous questionnaire survey of dietary behaviors was conducted among 1 126 high school students selected by using a stratified cluster sampling method in Chuzhou.Results There were 14.5% students who drunk soft drink more than one time everyday,and 12.4% students ate sweet food per day;63.6% students drunk a glass of milk infrequently,35.3% students had a penchant for some food;10.9% of them did not have breakfast regularly,11.1% students were on diet to control their weight.40.3% students had more than two kinds of unhealthy dietary behaviors.Conclusions Among the surveyed students,unhealthy dietary behaviors and weight reducing behaviors were common.Therefore,it is necessary to induce the students to have healthy dietary behaviors.
