Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between serum high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)level and the severity and prognosis in acute myocardial infarction. Methods Serum hs-CRP level of forty-two patients with acute myocardial infarction were evaluated.Serum hs-CRP levels were measured in forty-six normal people as control group. To analyze the difference between the serum levels of hs-CRP before and after the treatment, and the correlation of hs-CRP and cTnI,CK-MB.Results The level of hs-CRP in acute myocardial infarction patients was markedly higher than that in control group(P0.01).Furthermore,the mean serum hs-CRP levels was higher in the patients with bigger volume of acute myocardial infarction.Serum hs-CRP level was correlated significantly with cTnI and CK-Mb(P0.05).Compared with the serum levels of hs-CRP before and after the treatment, the difference had statistical significance(P0.01).Conclusion The serum hs-CRP level can be a sensitive index in the patients with acute myocardial infarction.
