Abstract
Objective:To investigate the relationship between serum high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) level and the severity and prognosis in myocardial infarction.Methods:Serum hs-CRP level of forty patients with acute myocardial infarction were evaluated.Serum hs-CRP levels were measured in eighty normal people as control group.Results:The levels of hs-CRP in myocardial infarction patients were markedly higher than that in control group(P0.05).Furthermore,the mean serum hs-CRP levels were higher in the patients with bigger volume of myocardial infarction.Serum hs-CRP level was correlated significantly with cTnI and CK-Mb.Conclusion: The serum hs-CRP can be a sensitive index in the patients with myocardial infarction.
