Beauty of personality is the spirit of man .The ideal personality by theory of traditional Confucianism one-sidedly pursues the good. Taoism exaggerates certain aspects of liberty. Both of them can't embody the true meaning of beauty of personality, which should be based on the good and regards each person's full and free development as the goal. The meaning of good and liberty requires to be specified. The good will be beneficial to the liberty and liberty should reflect the needs of the good.
