Abstract
There are different persuits to the ideal personality between Confucianism and Taoism which are two mainstream thinking in pre-Qin Dynasty.The Confucianism respected gentleman,while the Taoism respected live saints.The reason is that The Confucianism standed on the society with its central thinking-kernel.But the Taoism standed on the nature with the central thinking-dao.Although there differents,they all take good relation as beautiful and persuit free.And they are good guidings to today' society.
