Research into the Relationship between College Students' Future Time Insight and Academic Delay of Gratification

Abstract

By applying the future time insight questionnaire and the revised college students' academic delay of gratification questionnaire,we made a perspective survey of 691 college students' level in the future time insight and the academic delay of gratification.The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between college students' future time insight and their academic delay of gratification.And the four factors(behavior promise,future efficacy,purpose awareness,future image) in the future time insight have a stronger predicative force for college students' academic delay of gratification.
