Abstract
Under neutral conditions, free fluorion ions can catalyze the discoloration reaction of acidic chrome blue K with H2O2.Based on this,a novel catalytic spectrophotometric method was proposed to determine trace F-.The results showed that the maximum absorption wavelength of the color solution was 522 nm,the linear range of the determination was 0.4~11.2 μg/mL,and the detection limit was 9.9×10-4 μg/mL.The method was used to determine fluoride in water with satisfactory results.
