On Connotation of HU Shi's Ideology of Human Right and Its Contemporary Meaning

Abstract

HU Shi was one of the leaders of the school of human right.The main idea of his ideology of human right includes the following.The nucleus of human right is freedom and the premise of realizing it is independent personality and the liberation of individuality.The most important human right is the freedom of ideology and speech.Men and women are equal;women's right is to be advocated.The key to struggling for and enjoying human right depends on each individual's practice and behavior.Tolerance is the principle and guarantee of human right.
