Abstract

When bisphenol A was added to the system of luminol-potassium periodate, more inhibitive chemiluminescence was observed. A Flow-injection Chemiluminescence method for the determination of bisphenol A was given. There is a linear relationship between the inhibitive intensity of chemiluminescence and the concentration of bisphenol A in the range of 6.0×10~(-6)~1.0×10~(-3)g/L. The detection limit is 1.3×10~(-7)g/L. The result is satisfactory by this method to detect the bisphenol A in water.
