Abstract

A strain of Gram-negative bacillus was isolated from lung of pigs from a county in Gansu. The isolate was identified as Pasteurella multocida based on biochemical characteristics.A pair primer were designed and amplificated by PCR,the PCR products were cloned and then sequenced. The results of sequencing was contrasted by BLAST software. The sequence of the PCR products shared 100% homology with Pasteurella multocida reference strain. The results of drug sensitive test showed that the strain was sensitive to PCN,STM,TCN and sulfonamides.
