One case of children infection of Penicillium marneffei

Objective To guide the clinical diagnosis of Penicillium marneffei(PM) and provide the basis for clinical treatment.Methods The patient′s blood was collected for ordinary blood culture,fungal culture,25 and 35 ℃ culture of Sabouraud plate and Columbia blood agar plate,staining and microscopic examination.Blood and bone marrow smear were also stained for microscopic examination.Results PM could be detected by culture and staining examination,mentioned above.Conclusion Various detection methods should be performed for the early diagnosis and treatment of PM infection.
