Abstract
【objective】To investigate the expression and significance of IL-10 and HO-1 in the animal model of alcoholic liver disease.【Methods】We establish an animal model of alcoholic liver disease(ALD).Meanwhile, alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate transaminase(AST)、interleukin(IL)-10 and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-from serum and GSH,SOD and MDA from liver homogenate were detected. And IL-10 and HO-1 mRNA were detected by RT-PCR.【Results】The levels of TNF-from serum were increased and the levels of IL-10 from plasma were decreased compared with those of normal group and control group.Thelow levels of GSH and SOD activities and the high level of MDA concentration from the liver homogenate were in the alcohol group compared with those of normal group and control group.Meanwhile, with the sever-ity of the liver injury, the expression levels of IL-10 and HO-1 mRNA were decreased.【Conclusion】The expression levels of IL-10 and HO-1 were decreased during the severity of liver injury. And they,as a newanti-inflammatory pathway, may participate in the process of ALD and provide some new ideas for the future clinical treatment and the drug research of ALD.
