Abstract
The resistance of explants and seedlings to different concentration kanamycin was studied for four varieties of processing tomato.The results indicated that kanamycin inhibited the normal growth of explants and seedlings of processing tomato in a certain concentration scope.The suppressive effect is more serious with higher kanamycin concentration.The optimal kanamycin concentration was 75mg/ L for cotyledon,hypocotyl and seedling screening of processing tomato.The seedlings were more sensitive than cotyledon explants,and the cotyledon explants were more sensitive than hypocotyl explants.
