Abstract

Cooperative learning is a kind of new and innovative teaching strategy and learning model.On the basis of presenting the current situation and issues in college English teaching in China and introducing the theory of cooperative learning,the paper explores how co-operative learning can be effectively implemented in college English teaching,with the aim to cultivate students'English proficiency and cooperative ability,as well as to improve the teaching quality of college English.
