Clinical application of oral cavity nursing in patients with orotracheal intubation

Objective:To investigate the effect of oral cavity care rinse plus wiping method in the patients with orotracheal intubation.Methods:100 cases of orotracheal intubation were randomly divided into oral care washing method(control group A,50 cases) and oral rinse plus wiping method(experimental group B,50 cases).Oral infections,lung infections and oral odor after oral nursing care were compared between the two groups.Results:Oral infections,lung infections and oral odor in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(P0.01).The effect of oral care was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:Oral rinse plus wiping can reduce the oral infections,lung infections and oral odor in the patients treated with orotracheal intubation,reduces the incidence of complications,increases the patient′s comfort and improves the quality of oral cavity care,which may be popularized in clinic.
