Abstract
Modbus protocol is derived from the most ancient RS-232/RS-485 serial communication.By modbus communication protocol,many different devices made by different producers can connect and communicate with each other.And now the protocol has been widely used in various fields of industrial automation.This article describes how to achieve the Modbus Communication between the ARM development board and PC-communication,and mainly analyzes the approaches to realize the hardware platform and software implementation.
