Regional Difference Mechanism of innovation in china——A Case Study from the Perspective of New Economic Geography

Abstract

This paper studies regional disparity mechanism of innovation from spatial perspective based on new economic geography.The result shows that,traditional disparity factors such as supply-demand,policy can't wholly explain the cause of regional innovation disparity.Innovation interaction is also important reasons leading to spatial concentration of innovation activity by generating increasing returns of innovation in the spatial level and reducing regional prime cost of innovation.
