Abstract
Chinese poetics,tone and taste are two delicate concepts which are more concerned with people's aesthetic demands and activities.They are in essence the aesthetic qualities of the poetic life.This paper analyses the meanings of the two concepts,points out their differences and their evolution,expounds their interaction and their relationship with the change of ancient Chinese poetry aesthetic qualities and finally discloses the aesthetic qualities of the poetic life.
