Abstract

Receptive aesthetics, a worldwide theoretical tideway in 1960s, has aroused extensive notice in the literary aesthetic field. Taste' is an important aesthetic category in Chinese classic poetics During its long developing process, the theory of poetic taste with the Chinese character has formed by the explication of many literary theorist. The theory of poetic taste is the same as the receptive aesthetics in paying attention to the readers and the text. Examining them together will not only help developing and sorting our excellent classic aesthetic information but also strengthening the communication and dialogue of literary theory between the East and West. Furthermore, it will promote the construction of contemporary literary critique category.
