Abstract
The constitute and features of Anshan iron ore tailings and the basic works done on tailings are introduced.The tailings are analyzed in respect of chemical component,mineralogical composition,size composition and liberation state.The methods of extracting useful components from tailings to produce building material,artificial stone and concrete are recommended.In addition,the transportation pile up of paste form tailings and the reclamation of dumping site are discussed.
