Abstract
Among all kind of tailings in China, the iron ore tailings are the largest and the most difficult for comprehensive utilization. So it is significant to solve this representative problem and make a rational utilization of iron ore tailings. The situation of emission and comprehensive utilization of tailings in recent years was introduced, and the approaches of comprehensive utilization and the research status of iron ore tailings were analyzed. Based on the current state of iron ore tailings reusing development, the development direction of comprehensive utilization of iron ore tailings was brought forward.
