Abstract
The modal parameters and mode of vibration of the lathe were identified,the structural dynamic performance of the lathe was mastered,and the disadvantages of the lathe were analyzed after the vibration test of the CW66163D lathe was conducted.The finite element analysis method of behaviors of the slide way joint was proposed based on the fundamental parameters at unit joint surface,and was applied to the analysis of the performance of the machine.The problem of the determination of the characteristic parameters of joints in the machine was solved.The comparison of the modal analysis and the finite element analysis shows that they are in good agreement with each other,providing scientific basis for the improvement of the dynamic performance of the lathe.
