Abstract
This paper analyzes the calculated model of CNC lathe-bed,based on ANSYS makes a study of its characteristics and obtains it's lower orders natural frequencies and modal shapes.Through the analysis of modal characteristics,weak parts of the lathe-bed are found and the suggestions of structural improvement are given.
