An Explorative Analysis on the Evolution Trend of the River Bed in Yongjiang River

This article introduced the basic situations and the incoming water and sediment conditions of Yongjiang river channel,as well as its history and recent evolutions.Through the measured data analysis of Yongjiang river channel section during 2006 to 2012,the result showed that the channel was experiencing slow sedimentation.To guarantee the flood carrying capacity of Yongjiang river channel,it is necessary to implement regular silt removal in the channel and strengthen effective supervision of illegal sediment discharge.
