Study of Similarity and Relevance of a Metaphor in the Perspective of Cognitition

Cognitivists have Sot a new vision on metaphor study.A metaphor is based on the similarity which offers a basic doorway for interpretation of a metaphor.The optimal relevance is suggested in the masterpiece of Relevance:Communica- tion and Cognition,and is more powedul in the understanding of the metaphor.However,it can embody the similarity of the metaphor.
