Evaluation about the Core Authors Based on Price Law and Comprehensive Index Method——Take Journal of Library Development as an Example

Core author is the scientific researchers who has made main contributions to subject research,and they are important contributors about academic influence and competitiveness of academic journals.They will affect the existence and development of journals,which is beneficial for subject research and journal development through evaluation of the core author.This article has a statistic analysis about the regional distribution and organization distribution of authors about the Journal of Library development During 1992-2009 from China Academic Journal Network Publishing Database.The paper selects 497 candidates of core authors based on price law.On this basis,it identifies and evaluates 161 core authors with the comprehensive index method.
