Abstract
Objective To explore the correlation between the risk of coronary heart disease(CHD) and serum high mobility group box 1(HMGB1).Methods ELISA was used to detect the serum HMGB1 protein levels of CHD patients and healthy control group patients. Results HMGB1 protein levels in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS) was significantly higher than that of stable angina(SAP) patients and healthy control subjects, patients with SAP HMGB1 protein levels were significantly higher than that of healthy people. Conclusions Serum HMGB1 levels can be used as an indicator to evaluate the risk of CHD.
