Considerations on the Shift from Public English to Vocational English

Abstract

According to the state and shortcomings of higher vocational English teaching for non-English majors,teaching reform is inevitable.This paper believes that it is time for higher vocational English teaching to shift gradually to EOP.It also discusses the developing ideas and measures from curriculum setting,teaching mode,teacher development and teaching material.
