The Evolution of Marriage Customs of the Hui People from the Anthropological Perspective——with Nagu of Yunnan as the Case

Marriage customs,the important cultural mechanism to preserve the ethnic boundary in the Hui community,highlight the constant Islamic cultural core. This article,with Nagu,a famous Hui community of Yunnan,as the case of field study,attempts to interpret,from the anthropological perspective,how their religion,history,tradition and human relations have been integrated with the marriage culture,which will shed much light on the evolution of its marriage customs.
