This paper analyzes the opportunities and the challenges brought to the college ideological education by the development of Internet,and also the current situation of the college ideological education on Internet.It presents new views on how to enhance the directness and effectiveness of its political ideological education by seizign the opportunities and giving full play to its resources of talents and technological advances.The institutes of higher learning should strive for taking the initiative in political ideological education on Internet.
