Observations on the Effect of Blood-letting Puncturing and Cupping in the Treatment of Cervical Spondylopathy

Abstract

Purpose To investigate the effect of blood letting puncturing and cupping in the treatment of cervical spondylopathy. Methods The patients were randomly divided into two groups. One group was treated by conventional cervical traction and the other group by blood letting puncturing and cupping. Results One week after treatment there was no significant difference in curative effect between the two groups( P 0.05). Two weeks after treatment the curative effect was better in the blood letting puncturing and cupping group than in the conventional traction group( P 0.05). Conclusion Blood letting puncturing and cupping is a good treatment for cervical spondylopathy.
